This is it! If you are a Brass Cap enthusiast then this is should be in your plans! This is another Event Cache dedicated to outforthehunt's Brass Cap Cache (GC43F3).

If you have ever or have never found the Brass Cap Cache then you can come and join in a unique "hunt"  that is part of Alberta's geocaching culture. This event is intended for all Alberta geocachers and we really hope to see folks from everywhere. This Event Cache will include a classic backcountry cap day, There will be some Brass Cap themed happenings, check out the schedule page to see what we will be doing. Watch for more updates. This is a chance to join a hike led by a very experienced routefinder up to a mountain summit. There will be an event t-shirt and a special Attendee version of the Brass Cap Geocoin. A NY style hot dog supper with chips and drinks will end of the day. This event is intended to appeal to everyone, if you cannot make the scramble portion of the event then please come out later in the day for the other happenings (see the event schedule) and stick around for supper. Make a submission to the time capsule, help place a new brass cap or find some of the new caches in the area.
This isn't just for the scramblers. There will be someone at the main event table all day to accept submissions for the time capsule and to keep the log book open and available. New caches wil be released at 2:00PM and published after the event date.
There is something to appeal to everyone!

A SPECIAL EVENT IS NOW LISTED ON INTERNATIONAL GEOCACHING DAY.
THIS IS A LINK TO THE EVENT.

IGD at Cameron LO

This Event Cache will feature a toast to geocaching held at the top of Mount Burke.
The event will be the first event hosted by Sleepy_hollow, in a very fitting location I think as over the years so many of us have shared the trail to a mountaintop with Don.
A great event in a special location, it is sure to be a very memorable day and I hope you will attend.
The IGD at Cameron LO will fit in directly with the Brass Cap Convention II.
